Event name                                           Church security: Are you prepared if danger comes through your doors?

Content                                                 In 2012, deaths from attacks at faith-based organizations increased 36%, according to church violence researcher Carl Chinn. How do you balance an open-door approach to ministry Cwith the need to safeguard against danger?

In this two-part session, we’ll take up the topic of church security. In the first section, an industry expert from Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company will discuss how to address security issues, protect your people and train an effective security team. The second part of the session will feature a panel discussion with a risk management expert, a legal expert, and Jeff Laster, assistant pastor of church administration and shooting survivor from Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX.

Registration is required. A free hot breakfast will be served during the session. Plus, all attendees can enter to win a free iPad mini.
