Preschool Childcare Information

Childcare for infants through 2-year-olds will be available from Sunday afternoon through Wednesday. (For children 3 and older, see below.) A $10 one-time nonrefundable registration fee is charged for each child. For each session, a $5 per child fee is charged, with a maximum charge of $40 per family for the full four days of childcare. Lunch will be available for the preschool children on Monday and Tuesday for a cost of $5 per lunch. Complete payment is due for all sessions and for lunch, if requested, upon arrival for the first session. Please be prepared to pay by check made out to Pleasant Garden Baptist Church.

Registration information may be obtained in one of three ways:

-- writing to SBC Childcare, Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, P.O. Box 157, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.

To assure your child is registered, applications and fees must be submitted promptly. Once the completed forms and registration fee for each child are received, a family ID number will be assigned and a confirmation packet with a family confirmation card, parent handbook, security information and procedures for check-in and check-out will be sent.

The postmark deadline for preschool childcare registration is May 19 and is limited to 150 children. Parents wanting to register their children after May 19 may print the required information and bring it to Greensboro, where they will be registered on-site on a space-available basis. Registration & Medical Release Forms

Below are a Childcare Registration form and a Medical Release form to register your child, infant through 2 years for preschool childcare which will be available during the Southern Baptist Convention June 11-14, 2006.

Both forms must be completed for each child to be registered.  Please include a non-refundable registration fee of $10.00 per child.  This fee is in addition to the session fees.

Please make your check payable to Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and on the MEMO line write SBC Childcare.  Send the check, registration form, and medical release form to SBC Childcare, Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, P.O. Box 157, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.

The childcare cost per session is $5.00 per child, not to exceed $40.00 per family for preschool childcare during the Convention.  Lunch will be available for the children on Monday and Tuesday for a cost of $5.00 per lunch.  Complete payment is due for all sessions and lunch(es), if selected, when you arrive for your first session.  Please pay by check made payable to Pleasant Garden Baptist Church.

We will plan craft materials, snacks, and volunteers according to the number of children registered.

Friday, May 19, 2006 is the postmark deadline and limited to 150.  Do not mail your registration after that date.  If you have missed the postmark date, please bring the completed registration with you and the child(ren) will be accepted IF there is space available.
