Lodging - General Information
Those needing hotel rooms for the Southern Baptist
Convention Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, June 17-18, 2003,
have three options. You can download the PDF housing form, then
complete it and fax to 602-256-5292. You can also submit the form
by mail to:

Reservations can also be made online beginning October
1, 2002. NO PHONE RESERVATIONS ACCEPTED. For best availability and
immediate confirmation of hotel assignment, make your reservation
online. Faxed or mailed housing requests will take longer to process
and your choice of hotels may not be available. All requests are
being handled by the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau/SBC
Housing Bureau through the Passkey reservation system.
Note: Downtown hotels currently
sold out -- possible availabilities after March 1, 2003
Opening/closing dates:
October 1, 2002 is the opening date for reservations. Please
do not submit your housing form until October 1 or after. All reservations
must be received by the SBC Housing Bureau no later than May 5,
2003. After May 5, 2003, all unused rooms will be returned to the
hotels.
Acknowledgements:
The SBC Housing Bureau will process all acknowledgements within
14 days. Please review all information for accuracy. If you do not
receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, please contact
the SBC Housing Bureau. You may check your reservation online, as
long as you included an e-mail address with your initial reservation.
You will not receive a confirmation from the hotel.
Group housing:
Reservation requests for 25 or more rooms should be made in
writing to the SBC Housing Coordinator at the Executive Committee
at 901 Commerce Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or by
email.
Disabled/special needs:
Disabled persons or those with special needs who want assistance
in reserving a room may call or email
the SBC Housing Coordinator at the Executive Committee in Nashville,
TN at (615) 782-8612.
Changes/Cancellations:
Changes and cancellations prior to May 5, 2003 4 pm Arizona time
must go through the SBC Housing Bureau at 602-452-6269 or entered
online. Reservations secured by a check will be assessed a $25.00
processing/cancellation fee if cancelled at any time. Reservations
guaranteed by a credit card may be cancelled without penalty until
May 5, 2003. After that date, a $25.00 cancellation/processing fee
will be charged for each room cancelled. Your full deposit will
be forfeited if you do not cancel 72 hours prior to your arrival
date. Changes on or after May 6, 2003 must be made directly with
your hotel.
