MSC celebrates 25 years

ST. LOUIS, June 12 - Robert Reccord, left, president of the Southern Baptist Convention's North American Mission Board, interviews David and Carla Tubbs, NAMB Mission Service Corps volunteers, during a 25th anniversary celebration of the MSC program. The Tubbs minister in Frisco, Colo., where their marketplace employment facilitates their work as assistants to the pastor of High Country Baptist Church. As "tentmaker" missionaries they coordinate a variety of ministries, thereby reaching their mountain resort area with the gospel. The celebration was held in the St. Louis Convention Center in conjunction with the annual SBC meeting, held in St. Louis June 11-12.
