FAITH Awareness Luncheon planned at '99 SBC meeting
     ATLANTA (BP)--A FAITH Awareness Luncheon, sponsored by the LifeWay Christian Resources' Sunday school group, is planned June 15 during the 1999 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in Atlanta. Bobby Welch, pastor of First Baptist Church, Daytona Beach, Fla., will be the guest speaker. The FAITH strategy linking Sunday school and evangelism grew out of the ministry of Welch's church, and he has been a key leader in promoting the initiative across the country.
     Church leaders and others who have accepted Christ as a result of FAITH will also share testimonials during the luncheon on Tuesday, June 15, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Ballrooms III and IV in the Georgia World Conference Center.
     Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the FAITH exhibit in the Georgia World Congress Center on June 14 and the morning of June 15.
