| Paige Patterson to address alumni
at Southeastern's June 16 luncheon WAKE FOREST, N.C. (BP)--Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary's annual National Alumni and Friends Luncheon will be Wednesday, June 16 in Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center. The luncheon will begin at noon in Ballrooms 3 and 4. Paige Patterson, president of Southeastern Seminary and the Southern Baptist Convention, is scheduled to speak. Current Southeastern alumni president Gerald Harris will preside at the meeting. A 1966 alumnus, Harris is president of the Georgia Baptist Convention and pastor of Eastside Baptist Church, Marietta, Ga. Other alumni officers planning to attend the luncheon include the president-elect, Tom Rush, a 1985 alumnus and pastor of First Baptist Church, Clovis, N.M., and secretary, Greg DeMarco, also a 1985 alumnus who recently retired from his post as a chaplain with the U.S. Naval Support Activity, Naples, Italy. Tickets for the luncheon are $12 and a limited number will be available for purchase during the Southern Baptist Convention meeting at the Southeastern booth in the Georgia Dome.
